180sx_turbo Discussion starter 6 posts ... Hey everyone, i just got a sr20det blacktop with 70k from my friend's 180sx, i plan to tune it up around 250-280hp rev 8000rpm and daily driven, as far as i think the engines still new and im just gonna build the head and go with turbo
I have an E5 Ecu for a RWD SR20DET. Will work for both the redtop and blacktop RWD engine/harnesses. Perfect working condition, had an extra to hold me over for a tune on another, now no need for it so its for sale.
I've got a redtop SR20DET engine from a S13, theres a drifting event on Friday morning (buying oil tomorrow morning) and the car needs an oil change for sure. Its lightly tuned (HKS Intake, Manifold & Exhaust, Plugs/Leads etc.) running .45 Bar of boost. Its primary use is for high revving racing.

btw, blacktop is a never engine. blacktop will fit in the 240sx as well as any redtop. if you will be upgrading parts on it i think they are equally potent. blacktops usually have less miles on them. the best match for your US 240sx is whatever you wanna put in it, lol. you can put a S14 or S15 motor if you like. all sr20det's will fit inthe ...

Just like the title states. I have done some looking into it, and apparantly, this is how it goes.. 1. Can either bend the crap outta the stock lines, or buy new ones. 2. Need to rotate exhaust housing in order to line up the oil return. 3. Must modify the stock T28 inlet piping to work with the S13 intercooler.
